1. About LoLog and these terms

These terms apply to the LoLog website and the information and support provided through it. They also explain important limitations of the LoLog app.

In these terms, “LoLog”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the developer and operator of the LoLog app and website.

The app itself may also be governed by the licence supplied through its distribution platform. For an iOS app distributed through the App Store, Apple's applicable end-user licence terms may apply unless a separate valid licence is supplied.

These website terms do not replace applicable app-store terms or override mandatory consumer rights.

2. Product information and availability

LoLog is a camera app for creating intentionally smaller everyday photographs.

Features, image formats, effective resolution and performance can vary with the app version, device, operating system, permissions, settings, available storage and characteristics of the captured scene.

File sizes, storage savings and photo counts shown on the website are illustrations or estimates, not guaranteed results. Actual results depend on the scene, settings and comparison used.

Screenshots and descriptions of features in development may change before release. References to planned features or platforms are not a promise of a particular release date.

Check the relevant app-store listing for current availability and compatibility before purchasing.

3. Your photographs and recordings

Using LoLog does not transfer your rights in your photographs or recordings to us. You remain responsible for having the rights and permissions necessary to capture, use and share them.

LoLog's smaller-file approach can reduce resolution or image detail. After a finished photograph is successfully published to the system photo library, LoLog removes its temporary capture files as part of local cleanup. It does not maintain a separate hidden full-resolution original for later recovery. Working files can remain while publication or cleanup is incomplete.

Choose settings appropriate to your needs and keep independent backups of important files. LoLog is not a backup or archival service. Check that important captures have saved successfully.

Location, time and other metadata are provided for convenience and may be incomplete or inaccurate. They should not be relied on for safety-critical decisions or authoritative measurements.

4. Purchases and refunds

LoLog's current intended paid-release model is a one-time purchase without advertisements or a recurring subscription.

The applicable price, taxes and purchase conditions will be shown by the relevant app store before purchase. App-store purchases are subject to that store's applicable payment and refund procedures together with your rights under applicable law.

Normally, use the relevant store's refund process for purchases made there.

Nothing in these terms removes a refund, repair, replacement or other remedy to which you are legally entitled.

5. Responsible use and website content

Use the website and app lawfully. Respect other people's privacy, intellectual-property rights, safety and other applicable legal rights.

Do not attempt unauthorised access to the website, distribute malicious code through it or deliberately disrupt its operation.

The LoLog name, branding, website text, designs and other original website materials are protected by their applicable rights. You may view the website and link to it. Other use must be authorised or permitted by applicable law.

6. Third-party services, updates and support

App stores, operating-system services, photo libraries, maps and external websites are provided by their respective operators and may have their own terms and privacy notices.

LoLog may maintain, update or change the website and app. Except where we expressly commit to something or applicable law requires it, we do not promise:

• a particular future feature;
• a fixed support response time;
• indefinite support for every old app version; or
• indefinite compatibility with future devices or operating systems.

Changes do not remove rights already granted by applicable law or the terms of your completed purchase.

7. Limitations and legal rights

We aim to provide accurate information and useful software, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, successful capture in every situation or recovery of every lost or interrupted file.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its information are provided on an “as available” basis.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer protections, fraud liability or liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded or limited.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when the product, website or applicable requirements change. The revised effective date will be shown on this page.

Changes apply prospectively and do not retrospectively remove rights relating to an earlier purchase. Where applicable law requires additional notice, we will provide it.
